About Us

Crosswalk got its start by God in the hearts of five families that felt the call for an authentic church whose heart was to please the heart of God.

In the fall of 2000 these families began meeting and praying in a home. We simply asked God to show us what this new church was supposed to look like. By February, of that same year, the church called John Wright as pastor in a full time capacity. July 2, 2001 we launched our regular Sunday morning services at Astronaut High School. Five years later, we moved to our current location downtown, Titusville at 317 S. Washington Avenue (directly behind Sunrise Bread Company).

That's where we're at today. Plans are to seek God's heart and will as to whether that's where we'll stay. It's tempting to go for the brick-mortar building but then again, we are reminded that God's ways are not our own so for now, we'll stay put and look for a word from God, himself.
